✅ TO DO
* Soap and water: Mild dish soap diluted in water is perfect for cleaning dirt and light stains. Rub gently with a soft cloth, being careful not to soak the leather. Wipe with a damp cloth and let it dry naturally.
* White vinegar: Known for its slightly acidic nature, white vinegar can be effective in treating tough stains. Use it diluted, wipe the area gently, and then clean it with a damp cloth.
* Olive oil: Although more often associated with salads and cooking, olive oil can also be used as a leather conditioner. A small amount on a cloth, gently rubbed into the leather, will rejuvenate its shine.
* Baking soda: Particularly effective for greasy stains. Sprinkle a little on the stain, leave it on overnight, then dust it off. Baking soda helps draw oil out of the leather.
* Hair dryer: Once your leather is cleaned, if you're in a hurry to dry it, a hair dryer set on the lowest heat setting and kept at a distance can save the day. However, air drying is always preferable.

⚠️ DON'T
* Bleach or ammonia-based cleaners Strong detergents or abrasive cleaners Alcohol-based products: These products can severely damage leather, drying it out and making it brittle. They can also cause discoloration because they can strip the leather of its natural oils.
* Baby wipes or disinfectant wipes: Although they seem gentle, many of these contain chemicals and substances that can degrade leather finishes.
* Excess water: Leather does not like water. When cleaning, it is better to use a damp cloth rather than a wet one to prevent water from penetrating the leather, which could cause stains or deformation.
* Silicone or petroleum-based products: While they may provide a temporary shine, in the long run they can dry out the leather and cause cracking.
* Rough cloths or sponges: Always opt for a soft cloth or sponge to avoid scratching the leather surface.
* Direct heat: Never try to speed up the drying process by placing the leather near a radiator or using a hair dryer on a high heat setting. This may cause the leather to dry out and shrink.
* Acetone or nail polish remover: These products can strip the leather finish and cause discoloration.
